If procrastination were a disease, how many of us would be chronically ill?

Employees tend to procrastinate easily and often. Procrastination negatively impacts the productivity, job quality, and happiness of the employee.

The Problem

I’ve created a natural and engaging implementation of organization, time-management, and progress tracking practices. This application aims to decrease employee procrastination, positively impacting the productivity, job quality, and happiness of the employee.

88% procrastinate daily.

20% are chronic procrastinators.

1 in 8 feel that their work is never under control.

To put that in perspective…

20% is higher than the amount of people diagnosed with clinical depression or phobias.

Those statistics costs US businesses around $588 billion per year.

And while that number is alarming, we will be focusing on the root - the employee.

User Interviews

I interviewed 5 people who work remotely to isolate the context of experiencing procrastination.

Interview notes were categorized & synthesized to clarify insights for the User Persona, a guiding light for ideating a design-solution.
